Kinsui Matcha Bowl — Black & Bronze Crystal Glaze

A striking matcha bowl (chawan) finished in deep black with shimmering bronze crystallization across the surface. In Japanese, this glaze effect is known as kinketsu (金結晶), or "gold crystal", created by firing a special glaze at 1230°C, which forms natural metallic touches and crystalline patterns as it cools.

Each bowl is individually fired, so the exact placement and intensity of the crystallization will vary slightly piece to piece, making every one a one-of-a-kind object as much as a functional tool for whisking matcha.
