Bold Wuyi rock oolong with roasted depth and signature mineral finish.
Da Hong Pao (“Big Red Robe”) is a classic yancha from the Wuyi Mountains, known for its distinctive mineral character (“rock rhyme”) and layered complexity. Heavily oxidized and traditionally roasted, it produces a full-bodied cup that balances warmth and structure with a smooth, evolving profile.
Expect notes of roasted nuts, dark chocolate, and caramelized sugar, supported by hints of dried fruit and soft orchid florals. The finish is long and mineral driven, with the roast gradually giving way to sweeter, more refined tones across multiple infusions.
