This classic dark roast hojicha is crafted from roasted Japanese tea leaves and stems, producing a deeply aromatic and satisfying cup. The higher roasting temperature transforms the leaf, drawing out bold notes of caramel, roasted nuts, and gentle smokiness while softening any astringency. The result is a smooth, amber infusion with a rounded body and a clean, lingering finish.

Compared to lighter styles, this darker roast emphasizes depth and warmth—less green character, more roast-driven richness.
