Sun Moon Lake Black Tea is produced in Nantou, Taiwan, from large-leaf cultivars developed for rich, expressive black teas often compared to Assam-style teas for their body and depth. This lot is graded as BOP (Broken Orange Pekoe) and includes a mix of whole leaf and broken leaf, allowing for both depth of flavor and a quicker, more expressive infusion.
It offers a rounded, full-bodied profile with natural sweetness, supported by notes of honey and malt, alongside a characteristic cooling mint and soft cinnamon spice. The result is a balanced and aromatic cup with clarity and depth.
